FIVE SEAMEN KILLED
EXPLOSION ON TANKER Australian Press Association —United Serrico. NEW YORK, 13th September. Five seamen wero killed and four injured by an explosion at sea on the tanker Shreveport off the coast of North Carolina, en route from Philadelphia to Gulf ports. The tanker sank: Twenty-nine survivors were rescued by the Spanish steamer Aldecoa.
