SENATOR PAYNE'S VIEWS Australian Press Association LONDON, 12th September. Senator Payne, of Australia, is going to Bradford at tho invitation of the Woollen . Manufacturers' Association with the object of inducing manufacturers to visit Tasmania and investigate at first-hand its possibilities. He will inform them of the inducements the Tasmanian Government offers for secondary industrialists. The Senator is eulogistic concerning the value of tho Inter-Parliamentary Conference, which he attended at Berlin, which he declared to be a magnificent adjunct to the League of Nations. The exchange of views of Parliamentarians over the world would help to cement international relationships. A unanimous peace sentiment existed amongst the 800 delegates present. Mr. Payne will endeavour to form an Australian branch of the association so that Australia can send a representative to the annual conference. He declared that German hospitality was phenomenal.
