FIRE AT PORANGAHAU

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, This Day. A seven-roomed dwelling at Porangahau, owned by Topi Te Kuru, was destroyed by fire early this morning. Tho only occupant at the time, George Te Kuru, escaped in his night attire. Nothing was saved. ?he house was insured in the Hartford Office for £.700, and the furniture for £200. The fire originated in the kitchen, but the cause is unknown.
