Arthur Charles Fowler Gibb (31), a recent arrival from England, where he was an architect, surprised the Court officials to-day by demanding trial by jury on a charge of being a rogue- and vagabond. To avoid expense the police withdrew this charge, but on a second count of being idlo and disorderly in that he had no lawful means ot' support, tho accused was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
