A GENEROUS ACTION
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHBISTCHURCH, This Day. Much against tho will of the Christchutch branch of the Eeturned Soldiers' Association, Smith and Ulm announced at last night's smoke concert that they would present the association with a cheque for £50, to be used for tho relief of distress among ex-servicemen. The announcement was received with cheers.
