NEW ATLANTIC RECORD NEW YORK TO PLYMOUTH British Official Wireless. (Received 13th September, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, 12th September. A new speed record for Atlantic liners was set up yesterday when the veteran Cunarder, the Mauretn.nia, completed a voyage from New York to Plymouth in 5 days 6 minutes. Tho official time from New York to the Eddystono Light was 4 days 23 hours 10 minutes. This is the third record the Mauritania lias set up within the past three months.
