A FATAL ACCIDENT

A boy named Maurice Irons, 12 years of age, residing with his parents at No. 20, Kenwyn terrace, Newtown, met his death yesterday afternoon as tho result of being crushed by a motorlorry. The accident occurred at 3.45 p.m. outside the publishing office of tho "Evening Post.". A motor lorry owned by' W, 11. Allan and Son was b.eing Backed into the cart dock when the boy.rushed in between and got hit in -the stomach. He was removed by the City Ambulance to the Hospital, where he died at 5.30 o'clock. His father is Mr. William Irons, chef at the Gresham Hotel. An inquest will be held.
