WIBELESS ON THE SOUTHERN CEOSS. Throughout thoir great Tasman flight tlio Southern Cross heroes were enabled to maintain constant communication with Nctv Zealand/and Australia. Their wireless whs equipped with three Philips Valves —the- famous A 442, A 415, and B'M3. Philips Valves wore soloeted only after the most exacting test. They wcro also used on tho Southern Cross Sydney-Perth flight, and by their menus tho fliers wove- enabled to or--1 cliaugo messages with stations 1800 miles away.—Advt.
