GERMAN AMBASSADOR Australian Press Association—United Service. (Received 10th September, 1 p.m.) . . . LONDON, 9th September. The death occurred of Count Brockdorli" Rautzau, German Ambassador to the Soviet, suddenly in Berlin. It is Teeallod that he was the first German Foreign Secretary after the war, and headed the delegation to Paris. He refused to sign the Peace Treaty, returned to Germany, and resigned.
