The Federal Government's scheme for national insurance- against old age: and invalidity has been completed, but time will be given the friendly socipties to study the objects. The cost of insurance, will bo borne .jointly by the Government, employers, and employees. Tho sehemo will be restricted to persons earning less than £8 a week. Tho employee- upon payment of 6d a week will bo cntitl d to £1 a week upon reaching 60 years of age.
