.(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. For having beon in charge- of a ntotorcar while intoxicated, Martin Bourke, a storekeeper, was fined £15 and his license was cancelled by the Magistrate, Mr. Platts. It was stated that the police had warned Bourke, after noticing his condition. The warning was ignored. Tho accused has only one arm. Counsel for tho defence appealed to the Magistrate not to cancel the accused's license as it was necessary for his trado. Tho request was declined.
