A flight from London to Bucharest, a distance of 1600 miles, has been accomplished in one day by i'light-Lieu tenant Scholefield in a Vickers Vivid machiuo with a 530 h.p. Napior Lion engine. Including two stops for refuelling, the journey was completed in twelve hours.
