WELLINGTON COLLEGE CARNIVAL.
Preparations are well In hand for tho grand carnival which is being organised by parents, old boys, staff, and pupils of the college, to be held on Friday and Saturday, 21st and 22nd September. There will be various spectacular events, indoor and outdoor amusements, scientific displays, sideshows, and stalls of all doscriptions. The object is to raise funds to floor and equip tho basement of the Memorial Hall us .a gymnasium and social hall, and also to develop a much-needed new sports ground to tho east of Firth House.
