For the past few months most peoplo have been too busy enduring winter and surviving spring to give much thought to summer, but there must always be an exception, and yesterday there were surely two—hardy young maidens who went bathing at Evans Bay. An admiring crowd watched their Jeisurely efforts in deep water until tho keen wind forced them on their way, lamenting at their own weakness and rejoicing in (or deprecating, accordingto their nature) the hardiness of those who could do now what others will not do until November.
