♦ MEETING OF CREDITORS (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Tlie Official Assignee called a meeting last night of the creditors in the estate of John Black Batcbelor, the missing solicitor, for "whose arrest a warrant was issued on 9th August. There was an attendance of fifty creditors and persona interested in the estate, and the Official Assignee presided. The total of the deljls owing by Eatchelor cannot bo ascertained until an investigation is made, but it is estimated that the deficiency will considerably exceed .€SOOO. At the meeting a committee was appointed to assist Ihc Ofiiitial Assignee in conducting the investigation, and authority was given to the Assignee to employ 'ipjjiil assistance.
