The Fire Brigade was called'at 8.58 a.m. to-day-to an outbreak in -a large bin at.the premise^ of David M'Crae, an importer, in Sfurflee street. The fire, which'iwas caused by: a aparit from a toasing machine getting into the bill, was quickly suppressed, and little damago was done. Messrs. Silverstone and Co. will sell by auction £1000 of bankrupt stock of drapery on the premiaeß, 227, Upper Cuba street, next People's Palace Hotel, on Tuesday next at 10.30 sharp.
