STRAND THEATRE.
Argus, "The Prophet," will appear at lho Strand Theatre to-night. He first gavo d3monatrations of his powers when six years of age, and he is now 17 years of ago, and has been subject to some severo tests. It is said that ho can answer any question by merely thinking of it. Ho can tell a member of the audience what ho is thinking about,' and answer tho question without tho slightest hesitation. Ho will bo supported by an exceptionally line picturo programme, which lias, as Its feature, a picturo called "Tho Skyrocket," starring Miss Peggy Hopkins Joyce (Countess Morner), America's fashion queen and society leader. "The Skyrocket" is a Marshall Ncilan production, and it is the story of tho average life as it is lived, in Hollywood. It portrays tho almost sky-rocket ascent of a beautiful woman to stardom, and her even more rapid descent. The story is taken from Adela Rogers St. John's "Cosmopolitan Magazine" serial and the supporting players are Owen Moore, TJlyan Tashman, Earle Williams, and Bull Montana. Tho picture programme is screening continuously from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Argus appears at tho afternoon and evening sessions.
