FATHER OF LADY PLUNKET (From "The Post's" Representative.) LONDON, 27th July. Mr. Joseph Lewis, the multi-million-aire member of the South African diamond firm of Lewis and Marks, chairman of tho African and European Investment Co., Ltd., and tho former husband of Miss Fannie Ward, the actress, died at his home in Brighton. Mr. Lewis was ono of the pioneers of the diamond fields at Kimberley in the early 'seventies, and inado a vast fortuiic. Ho married Miss Ward in 1901, and divorced her in 1913. There was ono child of the marriage, the present Lady Plunket, on whom her father settled £50,000 at her christening to accumulate until her coming of age. Lady Plunket, tho widow of Mr, Jack Barnato, inherited £90,000 in 1922 Mr. Lewis's remains wore laid to rest at the Jewish Cemetery, Willesden,
