The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board lias received the following market report from its London office dated 31st August, with last week's prices shown in paren- ■ Butter: New Zealand salted, 180s, 182s, up to 180s (180s, 180s); unsalted, 180s, 190s (184s, 190s); deliveries New Zealand this week, 860 tons; in store New Zealand this week, 5600 tons; Australian finest salted, 1665, 172s (1665, 1725); Argentine finest unsalted, 170s, 174s (168s, 1745);. Irish creamery, salted, 1755, 176s (1765); unsalted, 1795, 180s- (180s); Danish, lS6s, 188s spot, 182s f.o.b. (188s, 190s, 1795, 180s); Dutch creamery, unsalted, 180s, 182s (184s, 186s); Esthonian, salted, 170s, 174s (1725, 1745); unsalted, 1725, 176s (1745, 1765) Siberian, 158s, 160s (1565, 158s); Ukranian, 1645, 16Gs (1645, 168s); Polish, salted 140s, 150s (1455, 158s); unsalted, 162s (150s, 1625); Lithuanian, 158s, 164s (158s, 1645); French baskets, salted and unsalted, 150s, 172s (1465, 170s); market slow; retail prices unchanged. Cheese: New Zealand white, Ills, 112s; exceptionally (113s, 112s, 113s); New Zealand coloured, 109s, UOs, up to Ills (110s, Ills); deliveries New Zealand this week, 13,000 crates; in store New Zealand this week, 59,000 crates; Canadian white and coloured, UOs, Ills (UOs, 112s); exceptionally, 112s; 108s c.i.f. (109s); Australian, white 109s (110s), coloured 108s, UOs (109s, UOs); market steady; retail prices unchanged. English finest farmers, 130s, 134s (1285,, 1325); market firm. Norfolk commenced discharge cheese 24th, finished 28th August. The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Can.'ida:— Butter: New York, 48 cents (2s); 'Montreal, 40 cents (Is 8d). Messrs. Dalgety and Company report, London, 30th August:—"Butter: Market very dull. We quote: Danish, lS6s to 188s (186s to I88s); New Zealand, finest salted, 180s to 184s (181s to 184s); Australian, finest unsalted 180s to 182s (178s to 182s), finest salted 166s to 170s (166s to 1725), G.A.Q. 158s to 162s (158s to 102s). 184s for New Zealand is occasional and difficult to obtain. Cheese:—Market very dull. We quote: New Zealand cheese, white 110s to 112s (Ills to 113s), coloured 109s to 110s (UOs to 112s); Australian cheese, white arid coloured, 108s to UOs; spot price for Canadian white and coloured, 110s to 112s (UOs to 112s); C.I.F. price for Canadian, 108s (109s)." Prices in parentheses are those of last week. Mr. G. A. Mills, Wellington, has received advice from Messrs. A. J. Mills and Co., Ltd., London, under date 30th August, as follows:—Butter: The market is quiet and the tendency is slightly easier. Finest New Zealand 'is quoted at 180s, 182s, first grade 178s, 180s, Danish, 184s, 186s, Siberian 1565, 158s. Cheese: This market is quiet. New Zealand white cheese Ills, 112s, New Zealand coloured cheese UOs, Ills, Canadian cheese UOs, 112s.
