ALLEGED ROBBERY (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) HASTINGS, 30th. 'August. "Help! Police! I'm bping robbed!" wore cries that reached Sergeant Doggelt lust .night, and on investigation tho sorgoant found h middle-agod miin in Russoll street, who declared, that ho Had been robbed and assaulted. He accused one man qf the oft'enco andsaid, that another was concerned. This/moriiing Thomas Murtin I'ower, was charged with haying robbed John Scott of £10 and a metal watch, and that ho used porsonal violence. A remand wfl» granted for a week. Bail was refused.
