It was decided to report to the Broadcasting Company that bad modulation and confusion of sound in orchestral performances were affecting, reception of 2YA locally It was resolved to thank the radio section of the Electrical Federation of New Zealand for having secured: the co-opera-tion of the Post and Telegraph Department in combating the causes of electrical leakages which have seriously interfered with broadcast listening in many areas. The following motion was carried:— "After mature consideration: this committee cannot see its way to endorse a certain proposal submitted to form a Radio Institute of New Zealand."
