RADIO AT THE HOSPITAL
Testimony to the success of the broadcast 'listening-in installation at the Wellington Hospital is given by the medical superintendent (Dr. H. tf. Ewen) in a letter received, by tho Amateur Radio Society. "The existing installation," he says, "has given overy satisfaction, ana the result* have well warranted the expenditure. Wireless Miatening-iu' in a public hospital is far more than an entertainment. It is of definite therapeutic value in the treatment of disease. The influence of tho mind over tho body is well known, and anything which helps the patient to bo cheerful and lessens the tendency to worry over his condition definitely helps tho body to overcome the disease."
