Commencing to-day, with matinees every day for ono week, Scotland's immortal romanco of tlio Highlands, "Annie Laurie," starring Lillian Gish, will bo shown. In this world romance, based on tha beloved Scottish . ballad, she has unprecedented scopo for the tenderness, tho subtle lure, and the sinccro emotion, which sho Invariably infuses into her roles, holding her millions of admirers spellbound. On the samo programme, and appearing at each matinee, will be presented tho most skilled troupe of Maori performers In New Zealand, Princess To Puca's Maori maids and warriors, who will present walatas, hakas, chants, and war cries, in costume. Their Excellencies Sir Charles and Lady Ferßiisson will he present to-night.' A special music score will be played for "Annie Laurie," and Mr. Aarons will play appropriate items on the Wurlltzer.
