LOW'S EARLY CAREER (From "The Post's" Representative.) ■ LONDON, 13th July. Mr. David Low, the omineiit cartoon Ist contributes an amusing autobiography to " T.P. 's Weekly.'' In this he traces his'-eavly.'-career in Ohristchurch. I engaged upon an anti-smoking cartoon campaign in the.Salvation Army 'War Cry.' "I attended the .Canterbury School of Art till I found that it was doing mo more harm than good as a black-and-white artist/ Art schools . have a tendency to strip you of your original approach, and to substitute a reverence for conventional technique;, for which reason, amongst others, I never would advise a journalist artist to stop long at any one of them."
