OLD NAVALS RIFLE CLUB
The Old Navals Defence Iliflo Club held its sixteenth annual meeting on Tuesday evening, with a good muster of members. The president, Mr. F. 0. Standidge, was in the chair. The president's r.eport showed that the club had a most successful year;) several new members had been enrolled, and proved a'good acquisition to the club. The balance-sheet showed the club to be in a sound financial position. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. E. D. Bell; life vice-patrons, Messrs. Duncan, K. Duncan, I' Duncan, A. Duncan; vice-patrons, the Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup), Colonel C!. C. Cooper, Major E. Davey, Major D. R. Menzies, Messrs. C. C. Odlin, H. Pratley, V. iM'Parlaud, W. J. Blundell, W. 11. Tisdall, L. A. Johnson, L. M. Caldwell, JS. J. Witcoinbc, V. Manning, 10. T. Taylor, F. Lamberg, C. W. Martin, J. W. Murphy, C. J. B. Norwood. 0.-Hodder; club officers: President, W. A hearty vote of thanks was extended to the retiring president for his valuable1 services during his term, also to the retiring hon. secretary, Mr. 0. T. Lawton, and the treasurer", Mr. P. Wright. The club will open its season on the '22nd September on account of the N.EsA. meeting • taking place next year. . % ' •'
