HOME AND SCHOOL

A meeting of parents and residents interested in the formation of an association tp co-operate with the Seatoun School Committee was held on Tuesday night. Mr. L. E. Lewis presided over a lair attendance. Mr. Lewis stressed the necessity for such an association, and the secretary of the School Committee (Mr. V. Klee) outlined the advantages of having a body to work in conjunction with the School Committee. He urged that a special effort Bhould be made 'to enrol past pupils. On the motion of Mr. L. Brown it was resolved that an association be formed, to be called'the Seatoun_ Home and School Association. Tbp following committee was appointed:—Mcsdames Pinkey, Lancaster, Siiall, Keir, Anderson, and Wiltshire, Messrs. Brown, Pinkey, G. Klee, Robertson, Jones, Maeilree, Wiltshire, Lewis, and V. Kleo. Mr. Lewis was elected chairman and Mr. V. Klee secretary and treasurer. |
