INCREASE IN DEATHS • i I ■ ■ A decrease is noticed in the number of births and marriages recorded in August in tbo Wellington district when | comparison is made with tho figures for the corresponding month of last year. There have been twenty-eight more deaths this month, however, than in August, 1927.
