These boys arc taken from a liig city into tho jungle and find themselves in dangerous situations with lions, cannibal chiefs, and hula girls. Tho cannibals are the biggest and most ferocious men Sammy and Ted ercr imagined, and (hoy wear the most elaborate head-rtrcss and carry enormous spears. But tho girls arc more Intriguing. Through strategy they completely capture tho entire isle. Cast in tho featured .romantic roles with Cohen and M'Namaru aro Sally Plilpps and Nick Stuart. Good supports are also shown, and tho usual excellent music, is supplied. . Commencing at the matinee to-morrow at 2.30, with matinees every day for one week, Scotland's immortal romance of the Highlands, '"Annie Laurie," starring Lillian Glsh, will be shown. Never'in all her brilliant career, It is stated, has Lillian Glsh had a role so entirely suited to her glorious talent as that of "Annie Laurie," tho Scottish Jonn of Are. In this world romance, based on the beloved Scottish ballad, she' lias ..unprecedented scone for the tenderness, tho subtlo lure, and the sincere emotion, which sho invariably infuses into her role 3, holding her millions of admirers spellbound. On the same, programme, and appearing at each matinee, will be presented tho most skilled troupo of Maori performers in New Zealand, Princess To Puea's Maori maids and warriors, who will present waiatas, hakas, chants, and war cries, in costume. Their Excellencies Sir Charles and Lady Fergussou will be present on Friday, tho opening night. A special music score will be played for 'Annie Laurie," and Mr. Aarous will play appropriate items on the Wurlitzer.
