(Received 27th July, 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day, With a heavy list of 15 degrees the motor-ship Vinemoor with a huge timber cargo has arrived from Portland, Oregon. She encountered mountainous seas and gafes for eight days off the Now South Wales coast, and the crew had an anxious time trying to save the cargo. Thousands of feet of Oregon were swept overboard, and a considerable portion of iron railing destroyed.
