It was recently stated in the House of Commons that all the marine undorwritora at Lloyd's Institute of London Undorwritera and Liverpool Underwriters' Associations had voluntarily agreed not to underwrite consignments of arms for China. Many underwriters iv other countries have adopted a similar policy, including, it is learned, the Polish Transport Insurance Companies Underwriters at Eotterdam and Amsterdam, and the Trench Union dcs Syndicates de Corripagnies d'Assuranco Contre Bisque de Transport.
