JAPANESE PASTIMES
The Wellington public should not mjss tlic opportunity of seeing the display of •jujitsu, double hand fencing, wrestling, and other national pastimes to be given (by kind permission of Vice-Admiral soizo Kobayashi) by the members of 11.1. J.M. Training Squadron this evening; Leading exponents in jujitsu, fencing, and wrestling will be matched, and the contests should prove both interesting find instructive. The band of the flagship will give a programme of music. The proceeds from (lie. function are being handed over to the Red Cross Society for the development of its work. During the evening a message .of goodwill to the people of Now Zealand from the Vice-Admiral, officers and men of the training ship will be delivered and broadcasted at the Town Hall.
