A number of residents of Island Bay mot last evening in the local bowling club pavilion to consider the reorganisation of the work carried on by the now defunct Cottage Garden' Society. The idea was well received, and it was decided to canvass the district for intending members, a good response being anticipated. The committee appointed proposes to arrange for several lectures later in the year. "' ' .
