Yestorday, Mr. Norman Burton, ono of the best known of tho old school of New Zealand journalists, and recently retired from the editorship of the "Church Gazette" claimed that he had proved tho correctness of Canon James's contention that the Eoman Catholic Church was the master of the Labour Party and that the Rev. Father Gondrrager should hand over the quarter of a million he had promised for building tho Anglican Cathedral. , n. 4Father Gondringer replies to-day that Mr. Norman Burton is "butting in, as is his wont, and concludes: "When my argument with Canon James is finished I shall be quite ready to take on Mr Burton, but he can get no share in the 'Gondringer millions.'
