DARLINGTON DISASTER
DUE TO DRIVER'S "ERROR Australian Press Association—United Servlc* (Received 18th July, 2 p.m.) LONDON; 17th July. The Coroner's jury gave a verdict in the Darlington train smash on 27th Juno, in which 23 persons were killed, that the disaster was due to the driver's error of judgment in misreading a signal.
