Hale (in centre), at one time a sergeant of the 6th Royal Warwickshire Regiment, and his two sons all got into the last 100 of the King's Prize at Bisley in 1926, when Sergeant A. G. Fulton won with a total aggregate of 286. F. C. Hale, who Wins the event this year, was twenty-second in 1926 with 279, his brother, A. C. Hale, was twenty-third with 278, and the father was fifty-third with 272. F. C. Hale was the only one of the family placed in the final hundred last year, finishing forty-seventh to Captain C. H. Vernon, whose score was 292, Hales's score being 281. Me. A- T. C. Hale Is a brother of Mr. F. J. Haje, engineer, of Petone, to whom "The Post" is indebted for the photograph. i ' '■ . ' , '
