AIRWAY TO INDIA British Official Wireless. (Received sth July, 10 a.m.) RUGBY, 4th July. Questioned regarding the air service between Bagdad and Karachi, the Air Minister, Sir Samuel Hoare, said that Imperial Airways were most anxious to open the whole section, but r had had difficulties with Persia regarding the Basra-Karachi part of the route. Imperial Airways ,and -the British Government were taking every possible step to open. the route.
