RENUNCIATION OF WAR
RECEPTION IN BRITAIN DOMINIONS CONSULTED British Official Wireless. (Eeceived sth July; 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, 4th July. Questioned as to whether he was prepared to signify the assent of the British Government to the revised proposals of the United States Government for tho renunciation of war, Sir Austen Chamberlain said that these proposals were receiving the careful and sympathetic consideration of His Majerty's Government in Great Britain, who were in communication with His Majesty's Governments in the Dominions and India. It would be premature for the moment to make any further statement in the matter.
