LETTERS IN BRIEF
A correspondent ("Plebeian") writes to "The Post" complaining of the inquisitorial nature of the Lower.. Hutt Borough's new unemployment registration form and questionnaire. The correspondent asserts that the questions asked are "insulting to the honest worker, in search of work. It is bringing the methods of the Third Degree into the bjjeaucratic system that controls so much of our industrial life." The worker wants to know what justification there is for submitting a worker to such intimate questions regarding his personal and domestic affairs. "Organ Recital" complains of the lack of adequate heating arrangements in the Town Hall when organ recitals are held. The correspondent states that "lately either the furnaces have given out, or they are lit too late to be of use, or only half the Heating is used. The sooner this is remedied the better. It is unfair to the organist who is ready and willing to give his magnificent musical feast, and it is unfair to the audience."
