United Press Association—By Electric TeleEraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, 4th July. The shooting for the Melbourne £5000 Handicap concluded to-day. The New Zealanders, Dobson and Taylor, were in the final eleven, who received £273 each. The first division of the prize-money was £73 each at the end of the eighth round, when the New Zealander, Truscott, was also among the recipients. Other divisions were £100 each at the end of the thirteenth and fifteenth rounds, the latter being the final division. The world's pigeon-shooting championship commenced this afternoon, with 83 entries. Dobson, Truscott, and Taylor missed their first birds.
