(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") CHBISTCHUBCH, This Day. The conditions woro mild and pleasant for training operations this morning. All the fast work was done on the No. 7 grass track, which had dried up nnd provided good going, though still a trifle dead. Limerick and Aiikiwai wero companions in a throe-furlong ' sprint, which they ran comfortably in 38 2'ssec. Full Feather and Swoopaloiig reeled off three furlongs nicely in 37 3-sscc. Don Jose and Crossbow were together at the end of six furlongs, timed in lmin 19 3-ssec. Amor strode out freely over six furlongs in lmin 18 4-ssee. Noteworthy wont well over five furlongs alone, taking lmin ssec. Mime registered 53 2-ssec for.the last four of five furlongs without being ridden out. • Eoscrea drew right away from Island Fastness at the end of a five-furlong spin, which he ran in lmin 4sec—a useful effort. Hurly Burly moved in good style over six furlongs in lmin 18 2-ssec. Hyperion was given a working gallop over a mile. Sarnia and Lady Swinton, the latter having hei* first sprint sincu she resumed work, took 52 4-ssec for half a mile. ;' Prickles sprinted three furlongs in 39 3-ssec. Kaikabu was given, several rounds of useful pace work in tho middle. Bronstell had Eadiac as a mate over
six furlongs, which they covered ia lmin 21see. . Twang and Exploit were associated in a three-furlong sprint, which occupied 39 3-ssec. ■ " ■ • ' Mrst Sight and Gay Crest were companions in a working gallop" over five furlongs. v Martarma and Tuahine ran half a mile comfortably in 53sec. Amorist and Despot took Imm (i 3 5 sec for five furlongs, running the la&t three in 3!) 3-Dscc. Master Garland (J. Puckett) was schooled over the steeplechase fences. Ho lost his rider at the second, but subsequently did a round jumping safely, but at a slow pace. Rascal and.
