Alexander Marinug Christinus Tuk, aged 59, described as a cook from Holland, was in the Magistrate's Court to-day charged with wilfully breaking a pane of glass, valued at ss, the property of the Government. "This man was in Hereford street last night, opposite the Old Post Office Building," said the sub-inspector. It was just a case of an honest man having neither job, money, nor homo getting desperate. It is a case of real hard luck, and far removed from tho usual type that comes before your Worship."
