BOXING.
The annual amntouv championship tournament promoted by the local Boxing Association is to be held on Monday, iuul-Tues-day,- Uth and 10(li July, and indications are tiiat there will be a large and varied programme on each of the two nights. Already the association reports an excellent entry, including a large number of competitors who have not previously been seen in action in Wellington, Intending competitors are reminded that entries close on Monday evening. Following the amateur championships the association is bringing over Tommy M'lnnis, the Scottish middleweight, and his first contest will be staged at the end of the month, his opponent probably being the middleweight champion, Harry Casey.
