FROZEN MEAT POSITION.
Messrs." Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 20th June:—•Frozen meat quotations (prices on .a delivered basis, i.e., including-storage'charges, cartage, tolls, etc.): Down lamb, 28 to 4A 10 l-8d per lb; best North-Island, 28 to 42, 9 7-8 d per lb; ordinary North Island, 28 to 42 9 5-8 d per lb; second quality lamb, 9 7-8 d per lb; best North Island wethers, 48 to 64 7d, 64 to 72 6 5-8 d; ordinary North Island wetnersi 48 to 64, 6 7-8 d; North Island ewes, 48 to .64, 5 3-8 d; 64 to ,72, 5 l-Bd| New Zealand prime ox beef, 160 to 220, 5d per lb. As compared with last week's quotations, lamb is unchanged. Wethers and ewes l-8d per lb lower. The demand tor New Zealand lamb runs principally on light weights. The market for mutton is weaker and the demand is poor.
