CITY OBSERVATORY.

Last Saturday evening, about forty visitors were present at the Observatory, aii'i good: views were obtained through the nine-inch telescope. ' The chief objects seen were the moon, Saturn, Alpha Cvucis. (lie "jewel cluster," K;ippn Crueis, and the globular cluster Omega Centauri. Interesting lantern slides were shown and explained. Saturn should iilso lie good, ami some of tho bright stellar objects: but clusters and nebulae -will be much dimmed by the moonlight.
