"Hands Up!" by Capini Vcquiu (Sydney: Constable Publishing Company), deals with Palmistry as a pastime. This provides plenty of fun for winter evenings, and this little book will help one to read palms as easily as one reads English. Simple diagrams simply explained, together with a key to nil tlie mystic markings, mako hand-reading simple and not the abstruse science which some other books on palmistry would seem to indicate. Try it on .your friends, is tho author's advice; but, as palmistry is said not to bo able to lie, perhaps it would be advisablo to make a judicious selection of the victims!
