The City Council last night authorised tho erection of a street lamp in each.of the following thoroughfares:— Khandallah road, Papawai terrace, Vallance street, Farnhain street, right-of-way Tho Parade, Island Bay, steps Fortunatus street, Kyber road, Kelburn parade, subway Ngaio, and Athens street, and three lamps in, Chelmsford street. An application foi an additional street lamp at Lucknow torrace was not approved.
