The committtee set up by the Jfruitgrowers' Conference yesterday to investigate local marketing, reported to tho conference to-day that Mr. W. A. Tate (Wairarapa) had been elected chairman. The committee requested that the growers themselves should consider the subject, put their ideas on paper, and "send them to tho committee.
