AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC TEAM (.Received loth June, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 14th June. Members of the Australian Olympic team arrived to-day at Plymouth on the Naldera. Mr. Les Duff says that all members of the team are quite fit, thanks to strict training on board. The cyclists exercised on home-trainers and the athletes followed a regular routine of physical "jerks" and games daily, together with massage. The swimmers trained in the ship's pool. The party, will disembark at Tilbury to-morrow, and will make their headquarters at • Onslow Court Hotel. The tragically sudden death of the ship's commander, -Captain Dayas, cast a gloom over everybody. Members of the Olympic team wreathed the coffin before it was lowered into the sea. Lady Stonehaven, who is also on board; going to England to see her children, expects to return to Australia in September. She left a souvouir photograph with the Olympic team.
