Captain Kingsford Smith has invited Warner and Lyon to accompany him and Lieutenant Ulm on the New Zealand flight. Warner and Lyon however, are anxious to return to the United States, and have withheld.their decision to see whether any Australians will volunteer for the honour. Captain Kingsford Smith and his companions were tendered a civic \ reception when passing through Melbourne, the rpute to the Town Hall being lined with cheering crowds They will fly to-morrow to Canberra, where they will be presented with the Federal -Government's cheque for £5000.
