QUEEN'S THEATRE.
"Second to None," the successful British production, returns to Wellington and commences to-night at the Queen's Theatre. It is based on a theme of the high sense of duty in all ranks of the Senior Service. Somo of its scenes were tho first to he shot on H.M.S. Tiger, and a unique feature is that every scene which purports to take place on board a warship, both above and below decks, is real. The fllm has a big climax in graphic pictures of a sea battle. The cast includes Moore Marriott, Micky and Aggie Brantford, lan Fleming, Benita Hume, A. B. Imeson, Johnny Butt, and Alf Goddard. The picturo was produced with tho co-operation of the. Admiralty. This is suflleient guarantee of the naval atmosphere of the picture. Tho routine, technique of the sailors' life is complete in every detail. Tho appeal of the picture lies in the patriotic sentiment that the story contains. In addition to this, it is a rousing melodrama. Tho supporting musical 'programme is described as exceptional. An additional feature of the programme is tho inclusion of tho official record of the lauding of the Southern Cross at Brisbane—a wellphotographed narrative. Also included in the film is the reception and welcomo, together with other incidents of importance. This product ion commences to-niorrow niglit.
